- I use a PowerMac 604/120mhz

- The statement "PowerPC chip allow you to run software from several
- systems" is false. It is the unified PLATFORM that will allow you to run
- several operting systems. There are currently several PPC based
- platforms:PPCP, PowerMac (mac), PReP (IBM OS2, Solaris, WinNT), BeBox
- (BeOS), and several that run AIX only. PPCP (formerly CHRP or Common
- Hardware Reference Platform) was developed by Motorola, IBM, and Apple to
- be Bi endian, openfirmware, and have 64/32 bit switching modes. All PPC
- based OSs are being ported to PPCP. For more info download the
- CHRPspec.pdf from chrp.apple.com
-
- Hopefully hte PowerAmiga will be CHRP complient
